7-Days Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Beach Experience – Full Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA)

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to Kahawa House in Arusha, located approximately 50 kilometers away—a drive of around 1 hour. Once at Kahawa House, you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening with a delicious dinner before settling in for an overnight stay, all on half-board service. We’re here to ensure your comfort and a smooth start to your Tanzanian adventure.

Day 2 — Into the Wilderness – Head to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins today! At 8:00 AM, we will depart from Arusha and transfer you to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately 120 kilometers away, taking about 2 hours by road. Once there, you will enjoy a full day of exciting game drives. Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, and you’ll also spot majestic giraffes, powerful buffaloes, elusive pythons, and of course, lions along with an array of other wildlife.

After an unforgettable day of exploration, we will head to Tloma Mountain Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delightful dinner and relax for the night on full board services.

Day 3 — Ngorongoro Crater Exploration with a Scenic Drive to Serengeti

At 7:00 AM, we will depart for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, about a 45-minute drive from your accommodation. Upon arrival, we’ll descend 600 meters (2,000 feet) to the Crater floor for a thrilling game drive where you’ll have the chance to see an incredible variety of wildlife. After exploring the Crater, we will embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, with a fascinating stop at the renowned Olduvai Gorge Archaeological Site.

As we journey through the southern part of Serengeti, you’ll enjoy another game drive, gradually making our way towards the central Serengeti. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, elephants, and more! By evening, we’ll arrive at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay amidst the Serengeti’s iconic landscape.

Day 4 — Serengeti Safari Adventure – A Full Day of Big 5 Encounters

After enjoying a hearty breakfast in the morning, we will begin an exciting full-day game drive in the iconic Serengeti National Park. Our focus will be on the central region of the park, renowned for its rich wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Around midday, we’ll return to Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp for a delicious hot lunch and a brief rest to recharge before heading back out to explore more of the Serengeti’s wonders for the rest of the afternoon.

Dinner will be served at the camp, where you’ll also spend the night, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. Full board services included.

Day 5 — Scenic Flight to Zanzibar Island – Transition from Safari Adventure to Island Relaxation

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our representative will greet you and arrange your transfer to Nungwi village on the north coast of Zanzibar. Here, you will check in at Smiles Beach Hotel for your overnight stay on a half-board basis. Enjoy the tranquil setting and the start of your island adventure.

Day 6 — Enjoy a Relaxing Beach Day in Nungwi – Sun, Sea, and Serenity

After a leisurely breakfast, spend the entire day basking in the sun and savoring the gentle sea breeze on the beautiful Nungwi Beach. Take full advantage of the serene coastal atmosphere to unwind and rejuvenate. Enjoy a delightful dinner in the evening and relax overnight at Smiles Beach Hotel, where you’ll continue to experience excellent hospitality.

Day 7 — Zanzibar Spice Tour, Historical Stone Town Visit & Departure

After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to a local spice plantation for a fascinating tour. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore and learn about a variety of spices including cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and clove.

Following the spice tour, you will proceed to Stone Town, Zanzibar’s historic heart. Enjoy a guided tour of the vibrant local market, visit the former slave trade center, and explore a historic Catholic church. A hot lunch will be served during your Stone Town visit.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport, ensuring ample time to check in for your international flight scheduled for the evening.
