Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel . Enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing on your upcoming climb.

Day 2: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

After breakfast, drive to Londorossi Gate for registration and then continue to the trailhead. Begin your trek through the dense rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (Big Tree Camp).

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

Continue your ascent through the forest and into the heather moorland zone. Cross several streams and reach the Shira Plateau, arriving at Shira 1 Camp.
