Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing on your upcoming climb.

After breakfast, drive to Machame Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest to Machame Camp. The trail is a steady ascent and offers a beautiful introduction to the climb.

Continue your ascent through the forest and onto the Shira Plateau. The landscape changes to moorland, providing stunning views of the mountain and its surroundings. Overnight at Shira Camp.

Trek towards the Lava Tower, a volcanic rock formation at 4,600 meters, for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This day helps your body adjust to the high altitude, crucial for summit success.

Climb the Barranco Wall and enjoy the view of the Heim Glacier. Trek through the Karanga Valley to Karanga Camp. This shorter day is designed for acclimatization and prepares you for the final push to the summit.

Make your way to Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt. Prepare for the final ascent with an early dinner and rest. The trail is tough, but the anticipation of the summit will keep you motivated.

Begin your summit attempt around midnight, trekking through the darkness to reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest. This is the most physically and mentally challenging day of the trek.

Complete your descent to Mweka Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificates. Transfer back to Arusha for a night of relaxation and celebration of your achievement.
